Invite gamers in KSA, the GCC and the world to discover the planet’s largest cultural and heritage destination, the GIGA City Project of Diriyah – the City of Earth.
Solution:
We recreated the iconic UNESCO World Heritage of At Turaif, the birthplace of Saudi Arabia, creating a playground for gamers to learn, discover and explore.
Fuelled by Livewire research and insights, the campaign is designed to deliver the experiences Saudi gamers love, and the map was painstakingly recreated 1:1 based on scans of the site captured on the ground.
Gamers can experience iconic landmarks such as Salwa Palace and the Imam Meshari bin Saud Palace as they collect traditional artifacts scattered throughout the virtual city.
Exquisitely crafted to push the potential of UEFN and the Fortnite Creative platform the map launched on Saudi National Day and has been supported by high profile talent across the region across social and YouTube integrations.
The campaign is also supported by Fortnite portals, in and around game media, and a geo-targeted gaming category takeover on Reddit.
