Whatâs my new career opportunity?
As our Sales Manager, you will be an integral part of the Commercial team and collaborate closely with our Head of Australia & New Zealand. Youâll be responsible for bringing on new business across a designated portfolio of agencies and direct brands, while super servicing and growing our existing clients.
Your energy for the gaming industry, spark for sales and effortless ability to engage cold contacts and build relationships will enable you to level up quickly. With a system-driven and organised mentality, youâll know how to ensure all your contacts are proactively engaged and communicated with regularly. Â
This is a once in a generation role, leveraging our unique USP, exclusivities and partnerships across the gaming ecosystem, working with a highly motivated team with a common goal to create new categories to successfully connect global gaming audiences with brands in an authentic way.Â
 What will I be doing?
- Building relationships with Director, VP and C-level marketing executives and key marketing decision makers within media agencies and direct brands in Melbourne and surrounding areas
- Hitting the ground running within the Beauty & Fashion, CPG or Tech & Telco sectors to unlock new business opportunitiesÂ
- Setting strategy for vertical and prioritizing approach for opportunities within your business worldÂ
- Maintaining long-term relationships and driving for upsell for future campaignsÂ
- Hitting the ground running, leveraging existing relationships within the Melbourne digital advertising landscape to unlock new business opportunitiesÂ
- Winning and retaining new business by becoming a trusted partner and subject matter expertÂ
- Proactively to build new contacts, from cold outreach to events with new friendsÂ
- Reporting on targets and forecastingÂ
- Using thoughtful and innovative sales techniques, from strategy to concepts and from brief to pitchÂ
- Having a constantly curious mentality about gaming marketing and gametech
How will I be set up for success?
- Evidence of extensive agency and brand direct networking and a suite of contacts eager and ready to partner with Livewire
- Expertise in digital advertising sales within the Beauty & Fashion, CPG or Tech & Telco sectorsÂ
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with executives and key decision makers; from media and creative agencies, to content, PR and activation agencies
- Extensive knowledge of agency and direct category eco-systems, their nuances, and future state opportunitiesÂ
- Excellent negotiation and problem solving skillsÂ
- Experience using Salesforce (or similar)Â
- The ability to work in a highly autonomous role balancing fun & performance.Â
